ummm...yeah. That's pretty gross. Did the article say what happens to all the images? I scanned (ha!) it, but should go back & re-read. Do they keep the images on file, like porn for TSA people? Extra super over-the-top gross.
B/c he's had cancer, my husband has to get full-body scans every few mos. Once our local airport gets this technology, I wonder if he can go there instead? It'd cost a heckuva lot less!!
I had heard about it. Not looking forward to it. Might havae to drive everywhere then.

Mikelene, at the risk of sounding more gross all those people who got permanent hair removal are probably wishing they hadn't now.
I'd prefer to look like a yeti than have someone get a free show!
Amen to the reduction in medical costs. Just get one of those $49 tickets to "nowhere" soooo much cheaper and you don't have to miss work if you don't want to ;)
klin add that to the never ending list of reasons why flying is becoming more and more of a hassle.
NCS are you saying you have a super secrety tattoo of SHG on your body that only the scanner viewers would see? I bet that would make them think twice about who they check out. ;)
seriously! I vote yes on charging a fee. Just a minimal one to cover the cost of baggage handling fees or whatever new excuse they're coming up with to extort money...
NCS yo no se on the baldness. Except you know what would be really funny is that if they could take the bald picture and make it like those bald head things with metal shavings where you can put hair on it wherever and however you want...that would be some crazy fun stuff!
