HAHAHAHA! That is great... you can come eat my kids candy. They always get WAY more that I will ever let them eat. And I don't teach sunbeams anymore so I can't hop up other people's kids on sugar.... oh wait 12 & 13 year olds love it too don't they?
We stopped giving candy out a couple years ago because the kids were rude. The teenagers way too old and way too grabby with the candy bowl....and I thought, crap! I don't need this hassle and expense.
Last year was the first time that my kids have ever gone trick-or-treatin. And that was only because we missed the neighborhood party and I felt guilty. I'd just rather buy a bag for my kids knowing where it came from and we can cut out the begging.

nandy! yay! Maybe we'll skip the costumes this year and just buy a few bags to share around with the fam.
looks like the neighborhoods in this area. i just wanna go and mow their grass.
but then i remember that i hate to do manual labor.
Sad but true.
It's the scariest thing I've seen since the one ich black widow last weekend!
No prob Tiff :D
CQ I think I've got more than enough candy to eat for the next two years after the carnival this past weekend!
CQ Ummm yes I would support that theory that 12 & 13 year olds like candy and act like sunbeams when they are hopped up on sugar ;)
GM I like that, it's way safer and your kids don't learn how to mooch. Maybe you should just have a Halloween party for the kidlets?
Then you could make your stickless caramel apples ;)
Mindi...I think that sounds like a good idea for a scouting/eagle/yw service project *winkwink*
AMEN. I wonder if that means that the houses where people actually still live will run out of candy sooner?

A-MEN! I either support that route or the possible church sponsored trunk or treating...although that seems like a bit much to put up with at times...
