IN OTHER NEWS***
For some reason I keep hearing the Jonas Brothers all.over.the.place. For a Disney conceived boy band, they aren’t too shabby. Although their prepubescent voices herald a flashback akin to the vocals of Hanson, I still say they are better than mmmm-bop-a-licious.

LOL I know.
And I still haven't found the perfect picture to make you an award with...
I secretly love them and I am ashamed!!
That's ok I have several tracks of "lame" groups of which I would most likely be ashamed to publicly admit...
I cannot stand them.
Have you heard them sing live?
*gag*
It's so bad.
ps. I have a lot of shameful stuff I listen to that I prefer to keep to myself. The Osmonds are not one of them. But my friend at work? Lu-huvs the Osmond Brothers. The old ones. Still!!
I ♥ the JB!! I took Izzy to their concert and LOVED it. I think part of their appeal is that they are clean enough for my 9 yr old to listen to, but I wasn't bored to tears listening to them. I'm also impressed that they write, sing and play their songs. Nick plays the guitar, piano and drums. They really are talented and I'm betting they will be around a while. Maybe not always a boy band, but behind the music. Especially Nick.
And I thought they sounded great at their concert.
That's all. Should I say "Amen" or...??
JOE IS THE HOTTEST JONAS BROTHER!!!
I always scream that out to embarrass my girls. However that doesn't mean that it's untrue.
They're homeschooled sons of an evangelical Christian preacher. They wear purity rings and present a wholesome image. Yeah, you could do a lot worse for music that entertains your kids.
I agree with Elastic...Joe is the hottest Jonas Brother. Love him in that Target commercial. Yes. I just said that. I can't get enough of him singing "Hello, Goodbye"
Gues it is true what they about the sons of a preacher man...
hmmm, still haven't heard them, which is amazing all the time spent on the disney channel. if it isn't animated, my kids make me change the channel. speaking of boy bands... i saw a NKOTB poster in the store the other day... weird.
b. - I only remember the younger Osmonds and how it was a super big to-do b/c they came to church with us one sunda when they were on "tour" of the malls of america...hahaha
I think Amen works percfectly well Tori:) I have to admit I haven't listened to a lot of their songs, mostly just that one song, burnin' up is all over the place, but then again when it's over 100 degrees outside all.the.time. it's hard not to sing along...ok yeah that was lame, but I cant still laugh about living in an oven can't I?
EWBL I must confess I have not had the pleasure of staring into their youngish faces...I think that might make me feel a little lester-ish...but I dunno maybe they're not too young for me? haha yeah right!
In my limited sampling, I noticed that not all of their songs are super poppy which is a nice change of pace for a boy band.
hmmm NKOTB poster was that back in the step by step days or is it a recent shot where the boys might be better off doing geritol commercials??? Meh go figure and hey the monkeys boys grew up pretty well...didn't they or am I just smokin' a little doobage?
My fave song off their new cd (JB) is "Pushin' Me Away." You can download it online. I ♥ it.
oooOOOooh sounds like an offer I can't refuse ;)
I don't know much about the Jonas brothers....however that picture of the Twlight Edward, so not what I pictured in my head.
NO way ho-say
I cannot come back here until you turn the lights on.
Black frightens me.
Black and red especially.
I'm not into them, but I won't poo-poo them either. There are worse things out there for kids to be listening to. You are right though, they are better than Hansen. Sorry guys.
Sorry Carrot I was contemplating that the other day. It's had its run and now starts to feel a little morose. So..no guarantees, but hopefully sometime this weekend...NEW blog...setup. Maybe something a little fire and ice-y?
I didn't used to be into them either, but then they just started invading my mental space and the song got stuck there.
My brain however has moved on to Imogen Heap's Goodnight and Go...good stuff!
