I was going to say exactly what glittersmama said. I think she and I are on the same page...right? Pharmacists take a lot of crap from people and get NO recognition for their hard work. I think it is a thankless job. With pretty much the same long hours as nurses (you don't necessarily have to work nights...but the day retail pharmacy jobs are hard to come by). Nurses take a lot of crap but get recognized for it. If you are a people person...I'd say be a nurse. I think my answer is a masters in nursing.
I'd say masters of nursing... the world can always do with a good one of those. Heavens knows we've had our share of the not so good ones... you know like the one who insisted that 2 days before Jake was released from his 70 day stay at the hospital that she needed to remove his spleen... yeah.
Scott's been through the whole nursing bit. If you are a people person, then go into that field. Do you want to specialize? I know people you can talk to if you get serious about nursing. I, personally, can't handle needles & blood. So if that's not an issue for you, you're ahead of the game. Prayer works, too. :)
b.- In my previous retail experience, some days are okay and some days just suck. I'm not really a people person when it comes to fast service and dealing with rude people out to save/take a buck. OK my point was lost in that particular statement. I'm not too sure how much of a "people" person I really am as far as being super sociable goes. I don't necessarily do well in the forced peoplizing that is involved in retail. Although I think I could handle nursing. Not too sure if that really makes a lot of sense though
CQ- I can imagine that this particular "nurse" was in fact an escapee from the psych ward. ;) She must have pulled a "Violet" and snaked some scrubbies from the hospital laundry. hehehe
Mikelene- Blood doesn't really bother me including mine or other people's. I don't mind needles in other people. I do however mind needles being inserted in me.
I've only ever had blood drawn twice in my life the first time I almost jerked it back out because that is completely NOT ok with me. (These were just small vials for blood work. :( yes in this I am a wimp).

Are you asking me what I'd like?
Only one person knows, and HE can tell you. ;)
It depends on what kind of work you want to do. You, I see in more of a clinical position. Not taking crap from people all day long.
I had to make another comment simply for the word ver.
duphis
And I can't even come up with anything funny to say. dangit.
Carrot- I'm not quite sure I caught the full intended meaning of that statement, but I'll get back to you ;)
GM- You don't even have to think of anything funny duphis pretty much says it all...just not about you ;)
GM- I'll call you.
Nursing, that's my vote but even I don't think that my vote counts for anything!

Tiff, I just like to hear what others have to say especially since I'm fairly certain I don' tknow everything. ;)
